Outgoing Navy Chief Admiral Dinesh K Tripathi called on President Droupadi Murmu at the Rashtrapati Bhavan here on Thursday.
Admiral Tripathi will retire from service on May 31.
''Chief of the Naval Staff, Admiral Dinesh K. Tripathi called on President Droupadi Murmu at Rashtrapati Bhavan,'' the President's office said in a post on X.
Vice Admiral Krishna Swaminathan has been named as the next Chief of the Naval Staff.
