Warsh elected chair of U.S. Fed's rate-setting committee

​The ​U.S. ‌Federal Reserve ​on Friday said ‌Kevin Warsh had taken the oath of ‌office as chairman ‌and member of the Board of Governors, ⁠and ​that ⁠its interest-rate-setting Federal Open ⁠Market Committee had unanimously ​selected him as its ⁠chairman.

Warsh earlier on ⁠Friday ​was sworn into office ⁠at the White House ⁠by President ⁠Donald Trump.
