Amid growing rumors regarding a potential change in Karnataka's leadership, Randeep Singh Surjewala, Congress General Secretary in charge of the state, clarified that no meeting of the party's legislative members had occurred. He asked the media to refrain from speculative reporting.
Surjewala reassured the public that any decisions would be announced by the party at an appropriate time. He stated, "Currently, no meeting has been called, nor any decisions made. We will notify you about any developments." His comments came as speculation increased around a potential resignation by Siddaramaiah to make way for deputy D K Shivakumar.
