In an unexpected turn of events in Kannauj, BJP district president Veer Singh Bhadauria admitted to displaying posters criticizing Akhilesh Yadav, the head of the Samajwadi Party. He publicly challenged the party to initiate legal proceedings against him.
Using social media, Bhadauria not only took credit for the posters but also issued a stark warning to the opposition: "If highlighting the actions of SP's leaders is a crime, then file a case against me." He further stated that the BJP's campaign aimed to expose the 'anti-women face' of the Samajwadi Party.
The controversy began when the posters labeling SP as 'anti-women' surfaced throughout Kannauj, prompting a swift response from the Samajwadi Party. While the local SP faction in Kannauj remained silent, the central office commented online, hinting that if they retaliated with posters targeting BJP’s accused leaders, the BJP would struggle with the consequences.
