AIADMK Reaffirms Unity Under Leadership of Palaniswami, Rebuts Internal Strife Claims

AIADMK leader Velumani dismissed rumors about discord within the party, asserting unity under leader Palaniswami. AIADMK Thondamuthur representative S P Velumani addressed concerns of alleged leadership conflicts within the party, emphasizing the overarching unity under general secretary Edappadi K Palaniswami's leadership.

Velumani pointed out that certain proposals were suggested to bolster the party and understand electoral losses, which Palaniswami embraced congenially. He refuted claims of power struggles, attributing such narratives to media speculation.

He underscored the discussions were strictly for strengthening AIADMK post-election setbacks and not about leadership disputes. Velumani also highlighted cooperation with key party figures to realign efforts and regain political ground.

He stressed the importance of tackling issues like law and order and criticized the new state government to take swift action to address social concerns.
