Tamil Nadu's Chief Minister, Joseph Vijay, will visit Tiruchirappalli on June 1 to express gratitude to voters from the East Assembly constituency. Vijay won and later resigned from this seat, opting to retain Perambur, after defeating DMK opponents with significant vote margins.
TVK sources revealed Vijay's visit is part of a broader campaign where MLAs thank constituents. Arrangements are in progress for the event at St Joseph's College, expected to draw substantial attendance. Enhanced security measures, including traffic diversions, are planned. Volunteers will manage the event logistics, ensuring voter engagement and safety remain priorities.
