In the midst of mounting speculation surrounding the formation of the Karnataka cabinet, Congress MLA Ashok M Pattan reiterated the party’s commitment to following the central leadership's directives. He emphasized that major decisions rest with the High Command, as Karnataka leaders met with Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge to discuss the pivotal transition.
Earlier, key figures from the Karnataka Congress convened at Kharge's residence in New Delhi. Former Karnataka Minister Eshwara Khandre expressed his gratitude to the Congress President for his unwavering support and detailed his achievements during his tenure. The party remains united, with the high command tasked with deciding Khandre's future ministerial role.
The high-stakes discussions are poised to precede DK Shivakumar’s swearing-in ceremony as Chief Minister on June 3.
