Iran missile attacks on Kuwait and Bahrain fail as US strikes back, CENTCOM says

Iran's ballistic missile attacks on regional neighbors, including Kuwait and Bahrain, were largely unsuccessful, with most missiles failing to hit targets or being intercepted by US and Bahraini forces.

​Two ​Iranian missiles fired ‌at Kuwait ​fell short or broke ‌apart en route, and three missiles launched at Bahrain were ‌intercepted by U.S. and Bahrain ‌forces, the U.S. military said on Tuesday.

U.S. Central Command ⁠added ​that ⁠Iran launched ballistic missiles toward regional ⁠neighbors but all failed ​to hit targets, and that U.S. ⁠forces conducted strikes on ⁠Qeshm ​Island in response to attempted attacks by Iran ⁠and defeated multiple Iranian ballistic missiles ⁠and ⁠drones on Tuesday.
