Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) Working President KT Rama Rao met with former BRS MP Balka Suman at Chanchalguda jail in Hyderabad after Suman's arrest by Hyderabad Police on Saturday. Suman faces charges related to alleged incendiary comments made about Singareni Collieries during a party press conference. Following the incident, Suman was remanded to 14-day judicial custody on Sunday.

Addressing the media post-meeting, KT Rama Rao criticized the Telangana government's alleged inaction against Mynampally Hanumanth Rao and Anirudh Reddy, accused of threatening BRS leaders. Rao announced his intention to write to Union Coal Minister G Kishan Reddy to address an alleged coal scam in Telangana, highlighting what he perceives as bias against BRS in legal proceedings.

The controversy stems from Balka Suman's statements on May 27, which went viral, urging party members to carry out militant activities to draw attention to farmer-related issues. His comments prompted backlash from both Congress and BJP, emphasizing the growing political tensions in the region as the incident underscores divisions within the state's political landscape.
