Kaushik Rai, newly inducted Assam Cabinet Minister, expressed gratitude towards Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma for entrusting him with significant responsibilities during his second term. Speaking to ANI, Rai pledged to work relentlessly to meet the expectations inherent to his ministerial role.
Committing to diligent public service irrespective of the department he oversees, Rai emphasized his resolve to work tirelessly for the state of Assam. His colleague, Cabinet Minister Jayanta Malla Baruah, echoed similar sentiments of determination.
Baruah noted the heightened expectations following the emphatic electoral victory of the BJP-led NDA government. Highlighting the trust bestowed by voters, both ministers reiterated their commitment to fulfilling their mandates. The cabinet expansion, announced by Sarma, included 12 MLAs and aimed at strengthening the BJP's governance in Assam.
