BJP leader Anurag Thakur launched a fierce criticism of the Congress-led Himachal Pradesh government, accusing it of prioritizing luxury over addressing public concerns. Speaking at the Circuit House in Hamirpur, Thakur argued that the government's administrative integrity faces scrutiny, not only from the opposition but also from within its ranks.

Referring to allegations of bribery mentioned by a government Vice-Chairman, Thakur challenged state officials to reveal the sources of alleged financial improprieties. He further criticized Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu's belittling remarks about election candidates, emphasizing the BJP's overwhelming success in recent elections and hinting at Congress's inability to accept defeat.

Thakur also highlighted financial instability, particularly unpaid liabilities for the Bhanupali-Bilaspur rail line, questioning the feasibility of new projects. Participating in a tree plantation drive under the 'Now for Climate' initiative, he urged action against environmental degradation, advocating for tree planting, pollution reduction, and forest preservation to combat global climate challenges.
