Trinamool Congress chief Mamata Banerjee is scheduled to meet Congress Parliamentary Party chairperson Sonia Gandhi at her 10 Janpath residence in New Delhi. According to sources, the meeting is set for 4 pm, following a high-profile INDIA bloc assembly where national political issues were discussed.
Both leaders recently shared the stage alongside other opposition figures at a meeting that involved representatives from 25 opposition parties. The gathering tackled critical topics such as alleged NEET and CBSE examination irregularities, electoral roll revisions, unemployment, and inflation.
The INDIA bloc, led by Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge, resolved to demand the resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan and announced plans to maintain regular strategic meetings. The alliance is preparing for the upcoming Monsoon Session of Parliament with a coordinated approach.
