In a significant political development, BJP leader Prakash Reddy on Tuesday criticized the Shiv Sena (UBT) leadership and Trinamool Congress (TMC), amidst reports suggesting the defection of 20 rebel TMC MPs to the Nationalist Citizens Party of India (NCPI). Reddy alleged that Uddhav Thackeray, Shiv Sena (UBT) chief, had strayed from the party's founding ideology for power.

Reddy claimed that Thackeray's pursuit of power led to dissatisfaction among party members, with Sanjay Raut playing a key role in this unrest. He predicted that parties centered around single individuals or families, like TMC and Shiv Sena, are likely to face similar challenges.

Amid speculations of 'Operation Tiger,' Shiv Sena leader Shaina NC refuted claims of her party engineering defections, emphasizing Maharashtra Deputy CM Eknath Shinde's commitment to the grassroots. Shaina highlighted the popularity of Shinde, attributing it to a broader trend of growth and collaboration within Maharashtra.
