Macron: G7 leaders agreed balance of strength now in favour of Ukraine

The G7 leaders agreed that the balance of strength has shifted in favour of Ukraine in its war with Russia, with Ukraine advancing and Russia retreating.

​The leaders ‌of the G7 ​group of the ‌world's wealthiest nations agreed at their summit in France that ‌the balance of strength ‌had shifted in favour of Ukraine in its war ⁠with ​Russia, ⁠said French President Emmanuel Macron.

"Ukraine is ⁠advancing, resisting, and Russia ​is going backwards," said Macron, ⁠at the G7 summit ⁠in ​France, adding that he considered the G7 summit ⁠to have been a ⁠success.
