Russia's curbs on popular apps show it is struggling, EU's von der Leyen says
European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen accused Russia of raising a "digital iron curtain" by restricting foreign apps, a sign of its struggles in the Ukraine war.

European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen said on Thursday that Russia's restrictions on popular foreign apps demonstrates that it is suffering over the war with Ukraine.
"Russia is again (raising) an iron curtain, but now it's a digital iron curtain on their people," von der Leyen said ahead of a summit with leaders of EU countries.
