Thailand's ​foreign ‌minister said on ​Thursday that the ‌regional bloc ASEAN must reach a consensus on whether ‌to normalise ties ‌with Myanmar and Bangkok would not impose its will.

Sihasak ⁠Phuangketkeow ​told ⁠reporters that Thailand welcomes ideas ⁠from other members of ​the Association of Southeast ⁠Asian Nations on how to ⁠address ​the conflict in Myanmar, instead ⁠of waiting for things to ⁠happen.
