President of Haryana Pradesh Congress Committee and candidate from Sirsa Lok Sabha constituency, Dr. Ashok Tanwar said that the people are celebrating the victory of the Congress party even before the election, which proves that there is no one against the Congress party. The 43-year old Congress leader was speaking to people after inaugurating his election office in Nathusari Chaupata on April 25. He said that the Congress is moving forward towards unilateral victory and no other party candidate is in a collision. With the hard work of the workers, there is the hope of an unprecedented victory.
He said that the BJP candidates are claiming victory with one lakh votes in Sirsa but the reality is that they will be defeated by 4 lakh votes. He further said that the BJP government has not fulfilled the expectations of the farmers. "Today farmers are forced to protest against the government. In Nathusari Chaupata the farmers are stopping the procurement of mustard. On the arrival of Congress government, every kind of demand of the farmers will be fulfilled," the young leader added. According to him, a schedule for roadshow or rally by Rahul Gandhi or Priyanka Gandhi in the Sirsa Lok Sabha constituency has been proposed. There is a lot of leadership effort to meet as many people as possible.
The young leader, Ashok Tanwar said that there is a strong wave in favour of Congress in the state and, in the future, Congress will form the government with full majority. He further said that the farmers, who made BJP victorious by giving a huge majority in 2014, today feel deceived by BJP. BJP has neglected all segments of society in Haryana and has been doing a politics of poisoning. All the promises and claims they made during the previous elections were forgotten. The promises such as 15 lakh rupees in the account of every voter, Namami Gange, Smart City, Bullet train, Swaminathan commission report, are all forgotten, and now the party has come on the politics of lies. People are being misled in the name of nationalism. He also met the farmers troubled over the procurement of mustard in Mandi and assured them that every problem of farmers will be solved when the Congress government comes to power.
Former MLA Bharat Singh Beniwal said that the Congress does what it says and shows it, while BJP fails to fulfill its promises. The BJP boasted of developing 100 smart cities in its manifesto in 2014. Today no smart city has been created. The former MLA is also surprised to see that the schemes like Smart City, Sansad Adarsh Gram and Pradhan Mantri Mudra Yojana are missing from BJP's new manifesto of 2019.
On this occasion, along with Tanwar other party leaders and workers such as Laduram Poonia, Advocate Gur Ratan Pal Singh Kingare, Amarpal Khosa, Sumit Beniwal, Raman Sarraf, Amit Soni, Kapil Sarawagi, Devendra Soni, Hanuman Das Pateer, Pradeep Poonia, Rajesh Sidhu, Roopram Kadvasaraa, Suresh Chadiwal, Jagram, Bodipal Sheoran, Vikas Hanjira were present.
