Southwest Monsoon Advances Further into Rajasthan

The Southwest Monsoon has reached Rajasthan, advancing into parts of the North Arabian Sea, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, and southeast Rajasthan. Heavy rainfall is expected in Kota and Udaipur divisions within 24 hours, with light to moderate rainfall forecasted for east and west Rajasthan over the next week.

The Southwest Monsoon reached Rajasthan on Tuesday, marking significant progress into the North Arabian Sea, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, and southeast Rajasthan, according to the Met Centre.

The Northern Limit of Monsoon now extends through key locations such as Mundra, Mahesana, and Udaipur. Predictions indicate favorable conditions for the monsoon's further advancement into Rajasthan over the next three to four days.

Heavy rainfall is anticipated in isolated areas of Kota and Udaipur divisions within the next 24 hours. Meanwhile, thunderstorms with lightning and moderate rainfall are expected in east Rajasthan on June 25-26. The weather department has also forecasted light to moderate rain at isolated locations in west Rajasthan over the coming week.
