Jaipur Military Station Paves the Way with Innovative Plastic Road

The Jaipur Military Station has inaugurated its first plastic waste road, a 100-metre stretch aimed at promoting sustainability. This innovative project follows the success of a similar initiative at Narangi Military Station. The road promises increased durability and reduced wear and tear, making it a part of their ongoing maintenance program.

In a pioneering move towards sustainability, the Jaipur Military Station inaugurated its first plastic waste road on Wednesday, graced by Maj Gen R S Godara, General Officer Commanding of 61 Sub Area.

Following the success of a similar project in Narangi Military Station in 2019, Jaipur becomes the second military station to adopt this innovation as part of its regular maintenance program.

The 100-metre stretch, constructed using plastic waste, promises increased durability and reduced wear and tear, according to Project Officer Maj Tushar Nambiar. Maj Gen Godara also symbolically planted a tree to mark the occasion, highlighting the station’s commitment to growth and development. Several other officers attended the inauguration.
