Tragic Tree Fall Claims Life in Mumbai's Worli

A 45-year-old man named Amit Jagtap died after a tree fell on him while he was walking in Mumbai's Worli area. The incident occurred around 9:30 am near Jambori Maidan lane. Jagtap was taken to a hospital but succumbed to his injuries in the evening.

In a tragic incident, a 45-year-old man, identified as Amit Jagtap, lost his life when a roadside tree collapsed on him in Mumbai's Worli area on Monday morning. The unfortunate event took place around 9:30 am in Jambori Maidan lane, near a row tenement, known locally as a 'chawl'.

An official from the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) reported that Jagtap was walking when the tree fell, causing severe injuries. Immediate medical attention was administered, and he was rushed to a nearby hospital.

Despite efforts to save him, Jagtap was pronounced dead at approximately 5:40 pm. This incident has raised concerns regarding urban tree management and public safety in densely populated areas.
