Nagpur Railway Station Transformation on Track for 2025 Completion

The Nagpur railway station redevelopment project is making steady progress and is expected to be completed by December 2025. Upon completion, the station will accommodate 98,000 passengers daily and feature modern amenities. The project aims to minimize passenger inconvenience and preserve the heritage building.

The Nagpur railway station redevelopment project is on track and is slated for completion by December 2025, according to the Rail Land Development Authority (RLDA). The station once revamped, will accommodate 98,000 passengers per day and include modern amenities.

The RLDA reported that 33 percent of the work is complete. The construction on both the eastern and western sides is progressing as per the schedule.

This phased brownfield project aims to avoid disruptions to train operations and minimize passenger inconvenience, all while preserving the heritage station building.
