Andhra Pradesh Launches 100-Day Housing Blitz for Weaker Sections

Andhra Pradesh Housing Minister K Parthasarathy announced an ambitious 100-day action plan on Wednesday to construct 1.28 lakh houses for the weaker sections. This initiative aligns with Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu's directive for all government departments to adhere to 100-day targets.

The minister revealed that Rs 2,520 crore has been allocated for this goal. Additionally, the government aims to complete eight lakh houses that are currently in various stages of construction by March. Speaking at a press conference at the Secretariat, Parthasarathy emphasized the importance of meeting these targets promptly.

Monthly reviews will be conducted to monitor the progress of house construction, ensuring accountability and speedy work. The minister has already instructed officials to expedite housing projects.
