Massive Plantation Drive: One Crore Trees for Hariyali Teej

Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma revealed plans for an ambitious tree plantation drive in the state, slated for August 7, coinciding with Hariyali Teej.

Sharma underscored the state’s longstanding tradition of nature worship, emphasizing the cultural significance of trees, rivers, and mountains. He launched the campaign at Hingonia Gaushala in Jaipur, where one crore saplings are set to be planted in a single day.

Aligning with Prime Minister Narendra Modi's 'Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam' initiative, Sharma called on citizens to honor their societal duties as well as their rights.
