In a tragic incident that unfolded in Rajdepur, two teenagers lost their lives after being struck by a train while listening to music through their earphones. Identified as Sameer, aged 15, and Zakir Ahmed, aged 16, the boys were residents of Rajdepur. According to the SHO of Kotwali police station, Deendayal Pandey, the accident took place on Sunday evening when the teenagers were seated on the railway tracks, engrossed in their music.

As the train approached, they were unable to hear the horn, resulting in a fatal collision that took both lives instantly. 'The boys were struck by the train and died on the spot,' said Pandey. The bodies have been sent for post-mortem examination.

Local authorities have started a thorough investigation into the circumstances surrounding the accident. The incident serves as a heartbreaking reminder of the dangers of being distracted in high-risk areas, such as railway tracks.
