In a tragic incident that occurred in the early hours of Friday, a portion of a single-storey home's roof in southeast Delhi's Tuglakabad area collapsed, leading to the death of a two-month-old infant. Five other family members sustained injuries in the mishap.
The incident took place in Churiya Mohalla at around 3 AM while the family was asleep. Police reported that the old construction of the house, situated in a narrow lane, may have contributed to the collapse.
The injured family members include Sonu Bhure Khan, his wife, and their three children aged nine, five, and four. They are currently undergoing medical treatment. Authorities are investigating the cause of the collapse.
