Tragic Road Accidents Claim 35 Lives in Uttar Pradesh Over Two Months
In less than two months, 35 individuals have lost their lives in three major road accidents in Uttar Pradesh. In a heartbreaking trend, three major road accidents in Uttar Pradesh have resulted in the loss of 35 lives in under two months. The latest accident occurred in Etawah, where seven people died and 25 were injured following a collision between a car and a double-decker bus early Sunday morning.
Police sources reveal that the deadly collision took place around 1:45 am on the Agra-Lucknow Expressway, affecting travelers in the Usrahar area of Etawah. The seven fatalities included three people traveling in the car. This incident marks the third occurrence where more than five people have lost their lives in a single road accident in the state within the last two months.
In another tragic incident on July 10, a high-speeding bus collided with a milk container on the Lucknow-Agra Expressway, killing 18 passengers and injuring over 30 others. Additionally, an early morning accident on June 12 in the Hardoi district saw a sand-loaded truck overturn on a family sleeping outside their home, resulting in the death of eight family members.
