Over 2,500 people, including 599 children and six pregnant women, are seeking refuge in various relief camps in Kerala's Wayanad district after devastating landslides struck the area.
According to the Chief Minister's Office (CMO), 16 rescue camps have been set up in Meppadi and other nearby village panchayats to accommodate 2,514 individuals from 723 families.
Recent official figures reveal that 221 bodies and 166 body parts of landslide victims have been recovered so far, while the number of missing persons has decreased to 180.
