Himachal Pradesh has been severely disrupted by landslides and flash floods triggered by ongoing rains, with 75 roads, including two national highways, currently closed, officials reported on Wednesday.

The local meteorological office has issued a 'yellow' alert for heavy rain in isolated parts of the state until Sunday, alongside warnings of flash floods in Sirmaur district until Thursday.

As intermittent rain continues, several regions have been heavily impacted, including Narkanda (47 mm), Dharamshala (42.2 mm), and Kangra (35.9 mm). The State Emergency Operation Centre confirmed significant disruptions, particularly in Shimla, Mandi, and Kullu, with 31, 18, and 12 roads closed respectively.
