Tragedy Strikes: Lightning Kills Three, Injures Five in Madhya Pradesh

Tragedy struck a village in Madhya Pradesh's Sehore district on Monday when a lightning strike claimed the lives of three individuals, including a 6-year-old boy, and injured five others. The victims were harvesting soybean crops in Kothari village on the Bhopal-Indore Highway at the time of the incident, according to police officials.

Among those fatally struck, two women, identified as Seema and Saloni Narayan, along with young Dinesh Singh, lost their lives. Sehore's Ashta Sub Divisional Officer of Police, Akash Amlakar, provided a detailed account of the devastating event.

Of the five people injured in the incident, two women are reportedly in critical condition and have been hospitalized at Ashta civil hospital. The authorities are investigating the circumstances surrounding the tragic event.
