Mumbai's Mega Redevelopment Exhibition: A Transformative Step

CREDAI-MCHI hosted Mumbai's first 'Redeveloping Mumbai: Ease of Doing Redevelopment (EODR)' exhibition at the Jio Convention Centre. The event aimed to streamline the redevelopment process for over 900 housing societies, featuring interactions with 40 top developers and key dignitaries unveiling a crucial redevelopment report.

CREDAI-MCHI, the prime body representing real estate developers in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region (MMR), hosted a landmark exhibition, ‘Redeveloping Mumbai: Ease of Doing Redevelopment (EODR)’, at the Jio Convention Centre.

The event facilitated direct interactions between over 900 housing societies and 40 leading developers, simplifying the redevelopment process. Key dignitaries, including former MahaRERA Chairperson Gautam Chatterjee and MHADA’s Sanjeev Jaiswal, attended the event. A significant highlight was the unveiling of the Ease of Doing Redevelopment Report, a vital resource showcasing companies leading Mumbai's redevelopment.

Ms. Valsa Nair, I.A.S., Additional Chief Secretary, Housing Department, emphasized the portal for redevelopment as a gateway to transparency. The event also featured panel discussions and provided insights into legal frameworks governing redevelopment, marking a crucial milestone for Mumbai’s housing renovation sector.
