DPIIT Addresses Key Roadblocks in Infrastructure Projects
The Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT) reviewed 21 issues affecting 17 infrastructure projects in India, emphasizing a need to address these challenges proactively. The Varanasi-Ranchi-Kolkata Expressway project was highlighted, with a total of 13,501 crore rupees invested in all projects.

The Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT) has undertaken a critical review of 21 issues impacting 17 infrastructure projects in Arunachal Pradesh, Sikkim, Delhi, and Jharkhand, according to an official statement released Friday.
Led by DPIIT Secretary Amardeep Bhatia, the meeting saw attendance from senior officials across central ministries, state governments, and project stakeholders. The collective focus was on roadblock clearance and project advancement.
A particular focus was the Varanasi-Ranchi-Kolkata Expressway project, valued at Rs 9,623.72 crore, which along with other projects, amounts to a financial commitment of over Rs 13,501 crore. Bhatia urged authorities to adopt a proactive stance in resolving pending issues swiftly.
