India is set to showcase the exemplary waste management practices employed at the Maha Kumbh during the 'Regional 3R and Circular Economy Forum in Asia and the Pacific' hosted in Jaipur. The event, announced by Housing and Urban Affairs Minister Manohar Lal Khattar, aims to bring together global participants to share insights on the circular economy.
The forum, which will see participation from 25 countries and over 500 delegates, is scheduled for March 3. At the heart of discussions will be the transformation of waste into wealth, as nations seek innovative solutions to foster zero-waste societies.
The Maha Kumbh, renowned as the world's largest religious congregation, has garnered appreciation for its successful waste management strategies. With an area spanning 4,000 hectares, the initiative demonstrates India's commitment to cleanliness and serves as a benchmark for sustainable event management globally.
