Centre Supports Mumbai's Urban Revamp: Goyal's Promises

The Commerce and Industry Minister, Piyush Goyal, has pledged comprehensive assistance from the Centre to bolster the Maharashtra government's efforts in urban redevelopment and infrastructure improvement.
During an event in North Mumbai, Goyal emphasized the government's commitment to providing durable housing, replacing temporary accommodations for the homeless and those in substandard dwellings, in the same locality.
Goyal, accompanied by Maharashtra's Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, handed over keys to 15 self-redeveloped housing societies and announced rapid construction work on a new 1,000-bed hospital near the Magathane metro, with another planned for West Kandivali.
