Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta has taken decisive steps to ensure cleanliness and development in Pitampura, northwest Delhi, by suspending a sanitation inspector over neglect issues. Citing a lack of desilting in a local drain, this move underscores her administration's commitment to improving public infrastructure.
During her inspection, Gupta inaugurated several development initiatives in the area, including the construction of new lanes, drains, sewage lines, and the installation of security gates in various blocks. She assured residents that these upgrades aim to provide world-class amenities across all Delhi colonies.
Emphasizing the need for collective responsibility in maintaining public property, the Chief Minister also called for the removal of unauthorized posters and banners from public areas, highlighting her focus on not just infrastructural enhancements but also community cleanliness and orderliness.
