A massive fire erupted at a junk warehouse in Jhaleda Rayansari village around 3 am on Tuesday, according to police reports.
Fortunately, no casualties were reported despite the flames quickly consuming goods worth lakhs of rupees. Dense smoke spread through the area, causing panic among the residents. Locals promptly contacted the fire brigade in Una, leading to the dispatch of two fire tenders that successfully contained the blaze, preventing it from spreading to nearby warehouses and industries.
The police have registered a case and are conducting investigations to determine the fire's origin.
