Rajasthan Drenched: Monsoon Torrents Sweep Across the State
Rajasthan experienced intense rainfall as the southwest monsoon became active, with Niwai recording the highest at 165 mm. Rajasthan has been experiencing widespread and intense rainfall after the southwest monsoon became active in the state, according to the Met department's report on Saturday.
Niwai in Tonk district recorded the highest rainfall at 165 mm in the last 24 hours. Eastern Rajasthan witnessed heavy to very heavy showers, while western regions saw scattered rain of varying intensity.
Significant rainfall was also reported in Chaksu (153 mm), Chauth ka Barwara (139 mm), Sikrai (119 mm), Bundi (116 mm), and Kota (115 mm). The weather forecast indicates continued rainfall in parts of Rajasthan, with heavy downpours expected on June 21-23 in Bharatpur, Jaipur, and Kota divisions.
