Khandu emphasized the necessity of building roads where communities live, ensuring inclusive growth. With Rs 965.99 crore sanctioned, the initiative has completed 393.57 km of roads in challenging terrains, reflecting the state's improved financial health and commitment to inclusive development.
In concert with the Border Roads Organisation, discussions are ongoing to enhance last-mile connectivity, supporting both national security and rural economies in the region.
