The aftermath of a tragic crash in Dhaka has left 27 individuals dead, primarily schoolchildren, after a Bangladesh Air Force training fighter jet plummeted into an educational building. The incident unfolded on Monday when the F-7 BGI aircraft suffered a mechanical malfunction shortly after takeoff, resulting in this catastrophic event.

According to officials, out of the 27 deceased, 25 were children. Over 170 people were injured, with many in critical condition, battling severe burn injuries at various hospitals across Dhaka. The pilot, Flight Lieutenant Mohammad Towkir Islam, was also among those who perished in the crash.
