Rajasthan Drenched: Torrential Rains Trigger Flood-Like Conditions

Overflowing rivers and opened dam gates caused chaos, with incidents like a school bus getting stranded on a river culvert in Sirohi and bike riders swept away in Chittorgarh. The crisis prompted school closures in affected areas.

The monsoon's intensity has seen dams reach capacity across the state, with significant governmental efforts towards water conservation underway to bolster agricultural and groundwater reserves.
