A fire broke out in temporary plastic godowns near the EM Bypass in Kolkata on Wednesday afternoon, according to officials.
The blaze erupted around 2.15 pm behind a 5-star hotel but caused no injuries. Swift action by firefighters resulted in the fire being contained in under 30 minutes.
The reason behind the fire remains unknown, an officer from the Pragati Maidan police station stated.
