In Thane, legal proceedings have commenced against the contractor responsible for a metro construction site where negligence led to a dangerous incident.
On a sunny Sunday afternoon, two rods fell from the construction site onto a moving car on Ghodbunder Road, damaging the vehicle. Thankfully, no injuries were reported.
Authorities found that the site's safety manager neglected essential precautions to prevent such risks. Following a complaint by the car's occupant, an FIR was filed at the Kapurbawdi police station against Pratik Mohite, the contractor's representative. However, no arrest has been made yet.
