Karnataka's Chief Minister, Siddaramaiah, has imposed a one-month deadline on the city's civic agency to repair all roads. Failure to meet this deadline will result in accountability measures for chief engineers.

During a press conference, Siddaramaiah revealed that Rs 750 crore has been designated for this urgent infrastructure project. While 6,000 potholes have already been fixed, 8,000 still need attention.

He emphasized the importance of maintaining work quality, threatening strict action should shortcomings be identified. Business groups, like the Peenya Industries Association, warned that poor road conditions might compel companies to relocate to states offering better infrastructure.
