This year's Diwali brought a breath of fresh air to Uttarakhand, with the state's cities reporting significant improvements in air quality compared to previous years.
Dehradun, for instance, noted a drop from a 'poor' AQI of 269 last year to a 'moderate' 128 this Diwali. Similarly, other cities such as Kashipur and Rishikesh also recorded improved air quality indicators.
