India is forecasted to become a global superpower by 2047, according to S Somnath, former Chairman of the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO). He emphasized the country's advancements in space technology and manufacturing as pivotal factors driving this transformation.
Addressing attendees at the 71st convention of the Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP), Somnath highlighted the coexistence of science and spirituality in India's progress. He noted the integral role of ancient knowledge in modern scientific achievements.
Praising Prime Minister Narendra Modi's policies, Somnath lauded the introduction of private players in the nuclear sector, which he believes will unlock new opportunities for the youth, especially in the burgeoning green technology sector.
