A major blaze engulfed three houses in a remote hilltop village in Ramban district early Sunday, leaving six families without homes. The fire, originating before dawn in Gunz top village of Trigam, Khari tehsil, spread rapidly to two adjacent wooden houses, officials confirmed.
Despite the absence of road connectivity, volunteers swiftly responded to extinguish the fire. Tragically, the intensity of the flames prevented the affected families from salvaging any possessions.
Officials reported no casualties and attribute the blaze to an electrical short-circuit. A team has been dispatched to assess the damage and provide immediate relief to those impacted by this devastating incident.
