Kashmir Shivers as Cold Wave Intensifies Amid Falling Temperatures

The cold wave in Kashmir has intensified, with night temperatures dropping across the valley. Srinagar's minimum temperature hit minus 4.4 degrees Celsius, while Shopian recorded the lowest at minus 6.6 degrees. The meteorological department predicts mainly dry weather until December 10.

The cold wave continues to grip Kashmir as temperatures dip further, with the meteorological department confirming that open skies contributed to the plunge in mercury levels.

Most areas, particularly around water bodies, were shrouded in fog, worsening the cold conditions in the region.

Srinagar experienced a minimum of minus 4.4 degrees Celsius, marking a steep drop from the previous night. Shopian emerged as the coldest area with temperatures plummeting to minus 6.6 degrees Celsius.
