Mumbai Congress Unveils Ambitious Clean Air Initiative

The Mumbai Congress on Sunday introduced an action plan titled 'Mumbai Congress Mission – Wipe Out Pollution' aimed at tackling Mumbai's increasingly hazardous air quality.

The plan, unveiled by party chief Varsha Gaikwad, criticizes the current government for neglect, outlines stringent measures for AQI management, and promises the right to clean air.

Proposals include large-scale afforestation, accountability in pollution management, dedicated air quality monitoring systems, and mandatory impact assessments for infrastructure projects to balance development with environmental responsibility.
