A devastating accident has claimed at least 14 lives and left seven people missing after a truck from Assam's Tinsukia district fell into a gorge in Arunachal Pradesh, authorities reported on Thursday.
The incident occurred on the Hayuliang-Chaglagam Road in Anjaw district earlier this week, according to Tinsukia District Commissioner Swapneel Paul.
Paul stated that rescue teams have located 14 bodies and one survivor so far. A team from Tinsukia, including police and officials, has been deployed to Arunachal Pradesh to gather further information.
