An unexpected visitor was discovered slithering through Mumbai's Bandra (East) this week when an 8-foot-long python was spotted near a highway in the Kalanagar area.
Alerted by civilians, police quickly engaged rescuers Kaushik Kini and Rishit Sawant, who managed to securely capture the reptile, according to an official statement. The discovery brought quite a stir in the neighborhood.
Remarkably, this event follows another recent python encounter in Mumbai, as a nine-foot-long serpent was rescued from a duct in the neighboring Dharavi area just a few days prior.
