Delhi cabinet minister Parvesh Verma has launched a critique against the previous AAP government, accusing it of neglecting essential civic duties for over a decade. This negligence, according to Verma, has left the current administration grappling with problems like towering garbage dumps, dilapidated roads, and unchecked pollution.

Verma asserted that since taking office on February 20, the new administration has been proactive in addressing these challenges. Notable achievements include removing 20 lakh metric tonnes of waste, fixing major waterlogging spots, and implementing anti-pollution measures, such as the ban on certain non-Delhi vehicles.

The minister detailed the government's roadmap for infrastructure improvement and waste management, with plans to complete major road repairs, enhance traffic flow, and improve waste processing facilities. Verma emphasizes the commitment to solve Delhi's longstanding issues and criticized the previous administration for inaction.
